What is your return policy?

All items are sold in as is vintage condition unless otherwise stated. Even newly lacquered items may have minor imperfections. Buying vintage means embracing the “not so perfect” look and adoring the one of a kind piece that will bring you many years of joy!

All sales are final. Returns or exchanges are not accepted.

What is your shipping policy?

Shipping charges are not included in the price of your item/items. Shipping is billed separately.

We offer local pick up or delivery. Please email me to arrange either. Local delivery fee will apply.

We are happy to help coordinate shipping through a 3rd party shipper that delivers to your area. We will also provide an approximate delivery estimate upon request. Please send your city, state and zip code that you would like a quote for.

We are happy to work with the shipper of your choice if you have one. All items must be picked up within 10 days of purchase unless previously agreed upon.

Final arrangements regarding shipping, and costs associated with shipping, are the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping is a contract between the buyer and the shipper.  Florida Regency is not a party to the shipping contract. If you have any questions regarding the shipping process please do not hesitate to email me.

Please be advised that shipping is a contract between the buyer and shipper. Florida Regency is not responsible for items after pick up. We are not responsible for loss or damage due to shipper. Once an item is picked up by the shipper you will need to contact the shipper directly as we do not communicate with the shipper after pick up. We do not know the delivery schedule nor can we arrange when he will deliver to you. Please understand other than finding you a shipper we have absolutely nothing to do with the shipper or process. It is up to you to thoroughly inspect each item and sign off when the item is delivered. If an item is damaged during transit you will need to make a note on the delivery receipt and request to the shipper to file an insurance claim.

Will you place an item on hold?

To remain fair to all our clients all our items are sold on a first come first serve basis. We do not hold items.

Do you offer a “to the trade” or designer discount? What about multiple purchases?

We strive to list our items at a fair price. We do not play the “mark up to mark down” game that many other stores do. If you are a designer or similar please inquire about our designer discount. We will require a copy of your resale certificate. We also recognize and appreciate large orders as well. Please contact us prior to purchase with a list of the items you would like to purchase.

Will you store my item?

We are very limited on space. All items are expected to be shipped or picked up within 10 days of purchase unless otherwise agreed upon. After 10 days a storage fee will incur of $75 a week. After 30 days the item will once again become property of Florida Regency. We do understand certain circumstances regarding shipping across country or being out of town. We are happy to work with you but ask that you contact us with such requests prior to purchasing.

How can I view or purchase your items?

Our items will be available on our website, Instagram, Facebook and at our retail store. Please note that our inventory may vary greatly at each venue. The best way not to miss anything is to check all the above daily. New items will be listed daily.

I will be in town after hours or Sunday. Can I still visit your store?

Please contact us prior to your visit to arrange an after-hours visit to our retail location. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

If I have an item to sell are you interested in buying it?

We would love to see what you are offering to sell by emailing us a picture. We do not offer consignment.

We are on a large buying trip and need to purchase multiple items. How can you assist us?

We actually specialize in assisting with large purchases whether it be for yourself or through a designer, for your new home or vacation home, one room or an entire home, locally, across country or another country we are there to help. We can help arrange or coordinate shipping, we are happy to schedule an after-hours opening of the shop for you, we even have a special area for designers and clients to sit down, spread out your fabric and wallpaper samples and plan your purchases. How often does your inventory change?

Our inventory literally changes by the hour. We are constantly shopping in order to have an ever changing inventory for you to choose from. Follow us on Instagram, Like us on Facebook, check our new arrivals daily on our website and join our mailing list to get first access to our new items!

Do you have sales?

We do! The best way to be included in our sales is to join our mailing list either on our website or at our store. We treasure our return customers and love to show our “love” and appreciation by having special sales.

Where do your items come from?

SHHHHH…..That’s top secret! However I will tell you that is one of the best things about us that differs from the rest…We are our own pickers, hunters. We do not rely on others to bring us items. We personally hand pick each one of our items from all over the world. This allows us to cut out the middle man, keep prices lower and maintain a collection that is the best of the best!

Why is Vintage better than New?

Don’t get us started on this one because vintage is truly where our heart is! After many years of buying new from big box stores we wanted something different for our home. We wanted something that would stand the test of time, something that not every other home had, something that reflected our personality and a piece that is truly one of a kind! These pieces have been here 50 plus years for a reason. Plus buying VINTAGE means helping the planet by going GREEN!

Can you tell me what to expect by buying vintage pieces?

The first thing to expect is quality, uniqueness and something that will last a lifetime!

Each piece we purchase undergoes a “process” before we offer it for sale. We thoroughly inspect each item. Even though an item has great bones it has to pass certain expectations that we demand. Color, fabric and other esthetic things can be easily changed. Sometimes we leave items as is in there original vintage form if that is what the piece dictates. We then give it an inside and outside thorough cleaning. In the case of brass, lucite and chrome we assess if the piece needs to be polished or left as is with patina. Sometimes a piece will need more attention to bring it up to par for our clients. This may mean having the piece professionally lacquered or newly upholstered or both. We also like to take amazing pieces of furniture and reimagine them in ways that will blow your mind! These vintage pieces will be custom designed from top to bottom. No matter the item you decide on you can rest assured that your buying a piece that will last a lifetime.

What does buying  “as is” mean?

If you look up the word vintage you will get different opinions what people feel is the acceptable time frame to be considered vintage. However the rule of thumb is at least 25 years old and less than 100 years old. Having said that any item that is “loved” for that long will have some wear or patina. Sometimes its not enough to detract from the piece. If we feel the piece was meant to be left as is then we give it a cleaning and it is ready to go! This may mean that there is some surface scratches to the wood, loss to paint, defects to fabric, tarnishing to metal, etc. You can either love it and embrace the original vintage state or make the changes yourself. Even when we have a piece professionally lacquered there still may be slight imperfections such as dings or scratches to the wood underneath the lacquer. Vintage means different things to different people but in general we always say do not expect perfect. Perfect is boring! Perfect is mass produced by a machine, perfect does not have character or originality. Embrace the uniqueness, one of a kindness, quality, craftsmanship that only comes with buying vintage!
