Amy has been immersed in design and decorating from a young age. As a child she would tag along with her mother to flea markets all over the country, estate sales and quirky stores. She learned to appreciate at a young age the unique, one of a kind pieces that can only be found by the "hunt". She is a fourth generation Floridian. As a child she would spend days running around her grandparents Flamingo Park historical home that was full of Mid Century Floridian furnishings. She loved to learn the history of all the beautiful Mid Century pieces that filled the home where her dad was raised as a child. She would have holiday dinners on the same Heywood Wakefield dining table that her dad sat in his high chair. By the way, that same table is now at her parents home hosting those same special dinners for another generation. She learned that quality built furniture is timeless in design and durability With her hands on approach she finds and transforms each piece to become one of a kind heirlooms that will once again stand the test of time. She works with top designers, celebrities and discerning home owners from all over the world to find that one special piece or entire home full of curated pieces. When she isn't busy raising her 3 beautiful children she is traveling to find special pieces, choosing just the right lacquer colors or fabric, and scouring through countless magazines and blogs to maintain relevancy in her choices of inventory. She strives to make Florida Regency standout above the rest!
Peter has a background in fine decorative painting and custom trimwork that graces some of the most exclusive homes around the world. He brings that creativity and high expectation of quality to Florida Regency. He has a keen eye for finding and buying not only the most sought after pieces but those one of a kind pieces that people desire. He has a hands on approach with the furniture design process and assures that each piece is done with the craftsmanship of long ago.
